I Set Up the xTool O1 Omni and Printed My First UV Project

Patrick unboxes and calibrates the xTool O1 Omni, then completes a ceramic magnet as the machine’s first UV-print project.

Patrick documents the xTool O1 Omni’s complete first-day setup, from removing the shipping materials and identifying the included accessories to checking the ports, exhaust connection, air filter, and ink bays. The video is an unboxing and first project rather than a finished review.

Each side cartridge and UV ink cartridge is installed before xTool Studio begins the guided setup. Patrick removes the print-head protection, fits the calibration hardware, starts white-ink circulation, primes the system, and works through the sensor and nozzle checks.

A mistake with the standard adhesive mat causes a small detour, but the calibration is corrected and the tutorial job continues. The O1 Omni scans a ceramic fridge-magnet blank, Smart Mask limits overspray, and the first color-and-white print is prepared in the software.

Roughly 90 minutes after opening the box, the machine produces a clean first project. Patrick leaves the larger performance conclusions for later testing, making this a useful record of the real setup sequence, the minor problems a new owner may encounter, and the checks required before the first print.
