About Patrick

I’m Patrick Campanale—a Christian, husband, maker, youth pastor, and teacher from Middle Tennessee.

Patrick Campanale in the Created Workshop shop

Christian. Husband. Maker.

Hi there, I’m Patrick Campanale.

First and foremost, I’m a Christian, husband, and maker—in that order. Christ is King in my life, and Created Workshop is one of the places where my faith, my love of teaching, and the things I make all come together.

My wife and I got married in September 2019, and we’ve lived in Middle Tennessee ever since. I didn’t discover how much I enjoyed making things until I was in my early 20s. Since then, I’ve had a lot of fun learning different techniques, meeting other makers, and creating things that put a massive smile on someone’s face when they open the package.

Home base

Middle Tennessee

My wife and I have called Middle Tennessee home since we got married in 2019.

At church

Youth pastor

I’ve served as our church’s youth pastor since November 2021 and also help lead the audio and video department.

In the shop

Maker and teacher

I test machines, work through real projects, and teach the settings and decisions that make them work.

The teaching part

The part of making I enjoy most is helping somebody else do it.

In 2024, teaching became the part of the maker space I cared about most. I’ve always enjoyed showing people how to do things, but that year my interest in helping other makers use their lasers and other machines really took off.

I had the opportunity to teach breakout sessions on xTool Creative Space at The Next Level Laser Conference in 2025. That experience made the next step pretty clear: I want to be a maker who helps other makers succeed in their businesses, without pretending every project or machine is perfect.

What drives all of it

My faith isn’t a footnote to Created Workshop.

I’m a Christian who believes in the One True God. I use the King James Bible, attended nearly three years of seminary with an emphasis on pastoral studies, and stay heavily involved in my local church.

I believe Jesus Christ came to this earth, died for my sin and yours, was crucified, was buried, and rose again. If you ever have a question about me, my faith, or God, you’re welcome to reach out.

The name and the mission

Why Created Workshop?

My wife and I went through a lot of ideas when we were trying to name my woodworking business in 2021. One morning, I woke up with Created Workshop on my mind. The idea is simple: I’m God’s creation, using what He gave me to make my own creations.

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works…”

Ephesians 2:10, KJV

Sharing the Gospel has always been part of the mission. Every package we send includes a little red Bible with verses about salvation, assurance, and help. Those packages have reached customers from Miami to Seattle, New York to Beverly Hills, and even Hawaii.

The mission doesn’t stop with a package. You’ll hear me talk about my faith in videos, trainings, social posts, and podcasts because it is part of who I am and why I do this. If one life is changed for the Lord, all the effort is worth it.

That’s the person behind the projects.

Created Workshop is where I share what I’m learning at the bench, including the mistakes and tradeoffs that usually get left out. If that sounds useful, start with a guide or see what I’ve been testing lately.
